The family then decides that Lele should move back to Sicily to stay with his life-long friends as well as give Lele the opportunity to be able to go back home and visit his family as often as he pleases. Once relocated to Sicily, Lele ends up finding a job and meets Rosalia, who is much different than all of the women he has ever come across but still has a much different personality than him. Through time and many struggles and hardships, their friendship grows and they end up falling in love with each other. The movie ends with Lele and Rosalia getting married.
